Acceptable Use Policy

You are solely responsible for adhering to all applicable laws in all activities linked to your use of Catalogg’s services, regardless of the reason. You must also adhere to the terms of this Acceptable Use Policy.

Prohibited Activities

You are not permitted to use the Catalogg services to publish information that might be utilized in activities that:

  • break any law, statute, ordinance, or regulation;
  • involve the active purchase or use of narcotics, steroids, certain controlled substances, or other items that pose a danger to consumer safety;
  • refer to drug paraphernalia or cigarettes;
  • utilize items that encourage, promote, enable, or instruct others to engage in unlawful conduct;
  • provide access to stolen goods including digital and virtual goods;
  • promote hate, violence, racial or other forms of intolerance that is discriminatory or the financial exploitation of a crime;
  • grant access to items that are considered obscene;
  • grant access to items that infringe or violate any copyright, trademark, right of publicity or privacy or any other proprietary right under the laws of any jurisdiction;
  • facilitate access to sexually oriented materials or services;
  • facilitate access to ammunition, firearms, or certain firearm parts or accessories, weapons or knives regulated under applicable law;
  • show the personal information of third parties in violation of applicable law;
  • support pyramid or ponzi schemes, matrix programs, other “get rich quick” schemes or certain multi-level marketing programs;
  • are linked to the associated with purchases of annuities or lottery contracts, lay-away systems, off-shore banking or transactions to finance or refinance debts funded by a credit card;
  • are helpful for the sale of certain items prior to the seller gaining ownership or possession of the item;
  • involve offering or receiving payments for the purpose of bribery or corruption;
  • include the selling of products or services that government authorities have identified as having a high risk of being fraudulent;
  • indicates that one of the parties will serve as a money transmitter;
  • include the sale of stocks, bonds, securities, options, futures (forex), or an investment interest in any entity or property;
  • refers to one of the entities that provides data regarding ongoing gambling, casino or betting services (whether or not legally defined as gambling), and sweepstakes, if the operator and customers are situated solely in areas where such activities are allowed).

 

Violations of the Acceptable Use Policy
